Pay Kar is more than a billing and stock system, it also has a CRM to help you win new business. If your business chases prospects, wholesale accounts, project clients, B2B customers, the CRM keeps every opportunity tracked so none is forgotten. Here is how to manage leads.
Adding a lead
- In the sidebar, open the CRM section and click Add Leads.
- Enter the prospect details, name, business, contact information, and where the lead came from.
- Save. The lead is now in your system, ready to be worked.
You can see all your leads under List of Leads, and bring in many at once with Import Leads if you have an existing list.
Working the pipeline
The heart of a CRM is the pipeline, the stages a prospect moves through from first contact to closed sale. The Pipeline view shows where every lead stands: new, in discussion, quoted, won, or lost. Moving leads through these stages as you work them means you always know your real position, how many genuine opportunities you have, and which need attention now.
This is the difference between hoping business comes in and actively managing it. A lead sitting untouched at a stage is a reminder to follow up, and follow-up is where most sales are won or lost.
Follow-ups and reminders
Most opportunities are lost not to a competitor but to silence, nobody followed up. Tracking your leads with reminders means the prospect who was interested last week actually gets called this week. A simple, consistent follow-up habit, supported by the CRM, turns more leads into customers.
Beyond leads
The CRM also includes tools that support the whole sales relationship, Tickets for handling customer queries and support, Campaigns for your marketing, Tasks for your team, and a Sales Playbook with WhatsApp templates to help your staff communicate consistently. Together they help you not just win a customer but keep them.
Why a CRM matters even for a shop
You might think a CRM is only for big companies. But any business that sells to other businesses, or chases larger accounts, benefits from not losing track of prospects. Even a growing retail business with wholesale customers gains from a simple pipeline. The tool scales to how you use it.
A few tips
- Move leads through the pipeline honestly, so it reflects your real opportunities.
- Follow up consistently, most lost sales are simply un-followed-up leads.
- Use the pipeline view to focus on the opportunities that need attention now.
What next
Once a lead becomes a customer, they flow into your sales, invoices, and ledgers like any other. The CRM is how you grow the customer base that the rest of Pay Kar then serves.
